Daera, founded by Sharon & Jannat, in partnership with Cancelled Plans. Inspired by a shared passion for repurposing the discarded, this collection celebrates comfort, sustainability, and creativity, drawing influences from local streets and water bodies.

Through the experimentation with discarded materials, this collection evokes the Bauhaus era with its minimalist and linear silhouettes. The design intentionally emphasizes fine, subtle forms that allow the materials to take center stage, creating furniture that is both functional and distinct.

In line with their commitment to the circular economy, the pieces are crafted from materials that would otherwise be discarded—rejects from local factories and waste materials that might have ended up in landfills or oceans. These non-hazardous materials are reimagined and fused with conventional elements, transforming them into functional and visually unique objects.

This is a bold exploration of craftsmanship and innovation, with an understated aesthetic that belies the complexity behind its creation. While simple and minimal in appearance, each piece carries the weight of sustainable practices and a forward-thinking approach to spatial design.
