Suggested Name: A Geometry of Gaze
Intro Line:
One square wall. Hundreds of tiny, stubborn, mismatched shapes — finally agreeing to belong.
The Brief:
Green Park Hotel wanted a piece for the lobby. Not filler. Not background noise.
They wanted something guests would stop for. Take a second glance. Maybe even a photo.
The Transformation:
We began with discarded upholstery swatches, each a whisper from a past life in a showroom.
We imagined patchwork as it had never been seen before. Geometries stacked like optical illusions.
Patterns nestled into patterns. A gradient of colour and chaos that somehow worked in harmony. Some shapes were soft. Some loud.
But together? They became a new language, stitched not just from fabric, but from patience and play.
The Outcome:
Now proudly displayed in Green Park’s lobby, “A Geometry of Gaze” does exactly what it set out to do: make people pause.
Some see 3D cubes. Some see puzzles. It doesn’t explain itself. It doesn’t need to.
